Free Version & Subscription
Tavak is free to install and use. A subscription removes two limits; everything else is included in the free version.
What the free version includes

One rule: sessions and objects are counted when they are created on the device, and deleting them does not free a slot. The free version is an allowance for one real job — collect it, export it, open it in QGIS — not a rolling quota. Importing a survey bundle counts as your one session, and the objects in it count toward the 100. A bundle with more than 100 objects still imports in full — nothing is cut — and you can view, edit and export it; you just cannot capture new objects until you subscribe. A photo or video captured through a feature’s form field belongs to that feature and is not counted.
You can always see where you stand: the Map tab shows Free version · 37 of 100 objects created under its title bar; the Survey tab and Settings › Full Version show the objects and the session. When a limit is reached, the action opens the Full Version screen and says which limit it was.

Subscribe from the Full Version screen; Google Play handles payment. Both limits are lifted immediately. There is no separate trial — the free version is the trial, on your own schedule.
Managing the subscription
Change plan, cancel, or see the next billing date in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Settings › Full Version in the app shows your status and has Restore purchases for a new phone signed in to the same Google account.
Working offline
The app confirms your subscription with Google Play when it can. Without a connection it keeps working for up to 7 days on the last confirmed state, which covers a normal field trip.
After the subscription ends
Nothing is locked: surveys, photos and exports stay on the device and readable, and the app returns to the free version. The counters reflect everything ever created on the device, so a lapsed subscriber who has created more than one session or 100 objects cannot create more until subscribing again — but can still export, import and use every other feature.
